2025年6月より、日本診療放射線学教育学会会長を務めております、磯辺智範です。
本学会は、診療放射線技師教育に関する教育・研究・実践を推進する学会です。
診療放射線技師教育を取り巻く環境は、医療技術の高度化、ICT・AI技術の進展、チーム医療の推進などにより、大きく変化しています。こうした時代の変化に対応するためには、教育そのものを継続的に発展させていくことが不可欠です。
本学会では、教育研究のみならず、授業設計、臨床実習指導、評価方法、ICT・生成AIを活用した教育手法など、教育現場で培われた実践知を広く共有し、診療放射線技師教育の質向上に取り組んでいます。教育に関する経験や工夫を「個人の経験」に留めず、「学術」として蓄積・発信していくことは、本学会の重要な役割の一つであると考えています。
また、本学会は、教育機関の教員のみならず、臨床現場で後進育成に携わる診療放射線技師、学生、大学院生、若手研究者など、多様な立場の方々が交流し、学び合える場でありたいと考えています。学生会員の皆さんには、早い段階から学術活動や研究発表に触れることで、専門職としての視野を広げ、将来の教育者・研究者・リーダーとして成長していただくことを期待しています。
今後は、全国規模での学会活動の充実、機関誌のさらなる発展、関連学協会との連携強化を通じて、教育の視点から診療放射線技師の専門性と社会的価値の向上に貢献してまいります。
日本診療放射線学教育学会が、教育を通じて診療放射線技師の未来を切り拓く学会として発展できるよう、会員の皆様とともに歩んでまいります。

President’s Message
― Advancing the Future of Radiological Technologists through Education ―
Thank you for visiting the website of the Japan Society of Education for Radiological Technology.
My name is Tomonori Isobe, and I have served as President of the Japan Society of Education for Radiological Technology since June 2025.
Our society is dedicated to promoting education, research, and practice in radiological technology education.
The educational environment surrounding radiological technologists is rapidly evolving due to advances in medical technology, the development of ICT and AI technologies, and the expansion of team-based healthcare. In order to respond to these changes, it is essential that radiological technology education continues to evolve.
Our society is committed not only to educational research, but also to sharing practical knowledge cultivated in educational settings, including curriculum design, clinical training instruction, assessment methods, and educational approaches utilizing ICT and generative AI. We believe that transforming educational experiences and innovations from “individual experiences” into “academic knowledge” to be accumulated and disseminated is one of the important roles of our society.
In addition, our society aims to be a place where individuals from diverse backgrounds—including educators, clinical radiological technologists involved in mentoring future professionals, students, graduate students, and early-career researchers—can connect, learn, and grow together. We hope that student members will broaden their professional perspectives through early exposure to academic activities and research presentations, and develop into future educators, researchers, and leaders in the profession.
Moving forward, we will continue to contribute to the advancement of the professional expertise and social value of radiological technologists from an educational perspective through the enhancement of nationwide academic activities, further development of our official journal, and stronger collaboration with related academic and professional organizations.
Together with our members, we will continue striving to ensure that the Japan Society of Education for Radiological Technology grows as a society that shapes the future of radiological technologists through education.
